Using NerdBeecon
NerdBeecon is a free games-and-movies community and editorial site. Accounts are for people aged 13 or older. If you are under 18, use the service with a parent or guardian’s permission. Do not submit personal information about children. If you cannot agree to these terms and the community standards, do not create an account or contribute.
Your account
Use an account and email address you control, keep credentials private, and report unauthorized access through the community desk. Email accounts require confirmation. Email and ChatGPT sign-in currently keep separate records; matching email addresses do not automatically merge accounts. Do not impersonate another person or evade moderation with additional accounts.
Your contributions remain yours
You retain ownership of your original review text and other contributions. By submitting them, you give NerdBeecon permission to store, display, format and moderate them as needed to operate the site. This permission does not transfer ownership or give staff permission to sell your work as a separate product. Only post content you created or have the right to provide. Requests to remove retained records follow the privacy and deletion process.
Reviews and independence
Write from your own experience, disclose free copies and relevant relationships, and flag spoilers. Community scores use equal-weight published ratings; staff takes remain separate. No payment, submission or free access buys a positive score or guarantees coverage. Manipulated ratings, copied reviews, harassment, private personal information and spam can be moderated.
Moderation and appeals
The owner may hide content that violates the community standards and records the reason. A negative score or disagreement with staff is not itself a violation. Use the community desk to request a review of a moderation decision. Hidden and withdrawn reviews leave public scores; their retained records may remain available for account management and dispute review.
Availability and links
Release dates, catalogue details and features can change. Reviews are opinions, not promises that a title will suit you. Official links lead to third-party services with their own terms. The beta has no paid membership or purchase service and no secure review-key distribution program. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or permanent access to beta features.
Policies and changes
The privacy notice, deletion guide, rights guidance and community standards explain the current service. Material policy updates will be dated on these pages. This version does not introduce arbitration, automatic payments or a subscription. Rights you have under applicable law are not removed by these terms.
Contact
Use Contact & feedback for account questions, privacy requests, corrections, rights concerns and moderation appeals. Requests and replies are private to the signed-in account and the owner. Replies are in the site inbox; support email notifications are not currently sent.
